On April 15, 2021 - the first of many steps!
Arm Yourself With Confidence was recognized with a Certificate of Formation as a nonprofit corporation. For some, this may not seem like a big deal, but in the nonprofit world it is literally the first of many steps to becoming an "officially recognized" nonprofit.
Our goal is to be recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. With this recognition comes many benefits for the organization. The biggest benefit is that donations become tax deductible. This is critical for a nonprofit since most of our income will be from personal and corporate donations.
